The Value Dram is a small UK site about finding whisky that’s worth the money. We look for bottles that deliver real value — honest, enjoyable whisky at a fair price — and we explain what to look for so you can choose with confidence, whether you’re new to whisky or building a collection on a budget.

We’re not whisky experts, and we don’t pretend to be. We research from published sources, and when a post is about a specific bottle we say plainly whether the tasting notes come from our own limited tasting or from published descriptions. That honesty matters to us: we’d rather tell you what we know than sound clever.
